Fourteen years of development and learning. Perhaps not enough to make a legend, but more than enough to question the familiar approach to digital-to-analogue conversion.
That is how the ANALOGUE DSD DAC came about — without a DAC chip or FPGA.

The Analogue DSD DAC converts PCM signals to DSD in hardware and sends native DSD signals directly to an analogue DSD converter. The design combines very low noise, a wide dynamic range, a multilayer gold-plated circuit board and two batteries. One charges while the other powers the system, keeping the supply continuous. All this sits in a solid black walnut enclosure just 24 centimetres wide.
Digital integrated amplifier
The integrated amplifier is also our own design. The same thinking, applied to a different task. It is still a prototype, built around the same principles: a clear internal layout, relay-controlled volume, 70/100 watts per channel and a dual-battery power supply.

Popori Ottó’s electrostatic loudspeakers
Our electronics will drive Popori Ottó’s electrostatic loudspeakers. The designer will be at the show, so you can hear the system and speak with the people who made it.
Hear this unconventional system, in both engineering and scale, in Room 105 at the Radisson Blu Sobieski Hotel. The units are compact. Their musical ambitions are less so.
